Satellite dish at night
Platform

Built for institutions that bear real responsibility.

Our platform is designed from the ground up for European government agencies, civil defence services, and critical infrastructure operators who require transparency, auditability, and legal certainty.

Platform Principles
01

European Data Foundation

All sensing is built on the Copernicus Earth Observation Programme, providing free, legally open satellite data governed entirely by European treaty law. Six Sentinel satellite families cover the planet continuously across optical, radar, thermal, atmospheric, and altimetric wavelengths.

02

EU AI Act Compliance

Our platform is designed for deployment in high risk contexts as defined by the EU AI Act. Every output is fully auditable, with complete trace chains from input data through model version to final conclusion. Human oversight is built into every decision workflow.

03

Sovereign Infrastructure

Our compute and storage infrastructure is hosted in European data centres subject exclusively to EU and member state law. Data processed on our platform stays within European legal jurisdiction throughout its lifecycle.

04

Open Standards Integration

Outputs conform to INSPIRE-compatible geospatial standards and integrate with existing EU GIS infrastructure. We do not create dependency on proprietary formats or interfaces. Clients own their data and can export it freely.

05

Epistemic Transparency

Every analysis output includes calibrated confidence intervals and explicit uncertainty flags. When data quality is insufficient for reliable conclusions, the system requests additional observations rather than producing low confidence outputs.

06

Operational Audit Trail

A complete audit trail accompanies every intelligence output, including the satellite data sources used, the model version, the reasoning steps, and the confidence calculation. Regulatory review and post-incident analysis are fully supported.

Data Governance

The Copernicus programme is the legal and technical foundation of our platform.

EU Regulation 377/2014 establishes the European Earth Monitoring Programme and guarantees free, unrestricted access to all Copernicus satellite data. This guarantee is embedded in European treaty law.

Every satellite observation underpinning a Fractalysium analysis is sourced from this programme. The data is free. The legal framework is European. The governance is transparent and subject to EU institutional oversight.
